A man who came with a simple goal: To affirm previous Prophetic messages about the oneness of God, to seal prophethood, and to perfect good moral character.
"Verily, God did not send me to be harsh or obstinate, rather He sent me to teach and to put at ease.” he once said. (Muslim)
There are seemingly countless sayings attributed to the Prophet Muhammad regarding good character. Here are 10, which are simple, yet powerful.
"Virtue is noble behavior, and sin is that which creates doubt and you do not like people to know about it." (Muslim)
"The best of you is the best among you in conduct." (Bukhari and Muslim)

"Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Cheer the people up by conveying glad tidings to them and do not repulse them." (Bukhari and Muslim)
"He who is deprived of forbearance and gentleness is, in fact, deprived of all goodness." (Muslim)
"Shall I not tell you whom the Fire is forbidden to touch? It is forbidden to touch a man who is always accessible; having polite and tender nature." (Tirmidhi)
"God is the forbearer and loves forbearance in all matters." (Bukhari and Muslim)
God has revealed to me that you should humble yourselves to one another. One should neither hold himself above another nor transgress against another." (Muslim)
I guarantee a house in Paradise for one who gives up arguing,
even if he is in the right; and I guarantee a home in the middle of Paradise for one who abandons lying even for the sake of fun, and I guarantee a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who has good manners." (Abu Dawud)
